April D. Bailey, PA-C
After graduating from the University of Georgia, I worked as an orthopedic clinical assistant before completing the Physician Assistant program at Emory University, earning a Master’s Degree in Medical Science. Shortly after graduating, I moved to the Boston area and joined Excel in 2007. With an athletic background and fascination of biomechanics, my primary interest in orthopedics is sports medicine.
When I’m not working, I’m going on adventures with my husband, twin boys and my dogs. I love running, hiking, cycling, exploring the great outdoors, college football (Go Dawgs!), woodworking and photography.

“I have been a patient at Excel for years. April is THE BEST! She takes the time to get to know you, cares about you (as a person, not just a number), and knows her stuff! The staff is also professional and friendly.”
“April was very pleasant and easy to talk to. She explained my condition in concise and easy to understand terms. I felt more like a family member than a patient.”
"I saw April Bailey and she was wonderful. I was able to get a quick appointment after being in the walk-in for a fracture in my foot. Front staff were great too."
